The Four Tell tale Signs That You Are Possessed By The Devil
Finally I’ve got a list.
Finally I have something I can put in my back pocket so that I can be sure that I am dealing with the devil and not just some super strong, fire breathing telekinetic speaking in some dead Samarian language.
Pontifical Regina Apostolorum University is teaching a course called "Exorcism and the Prayer of Liberation," which among other things hopes to teach aspiring demonologists and exorcists how to tell the difference between demonic possession and psychological problems.
"Not all of you will become exorcists but it is indispensable that every priest knows how to discern between demonic possession and psychological problems," said Father Paolo Scarafoni who teaches the course.
I think that is great news. In light of that priest killing that schizophrenic nun a few months ago because he misinterpreted her behavior as demonic possession, I am pleased to hear that the church is actually acknowledging that there is a difference here.
When the church considered itself the authority in all things mythologic as well as scientific, we were in trouble.
Now I am not sure what they are saying behind closed doors but at least publicly they are admitting that autism isn’t necessarily a telltale sign that Urakabarameel is having his way with your daughter in her bedroom.
Apparently the Catholic Church has seen enough real demonic possessions to be able to list the four telltale signs that a person is in fact possessed by a fallen angle.
1) When someone can suddenly speak or understands languages they normally can’t.
2) When their physical strength is disproportionate to their body size or age;
3) When they are suddenly knowledgeable about occult practices;
4) When they have a physical aversion to sacred things, such as the communion host or prayers.
Evidently denouncing Satan as the prince of the lies and ordering him to “go back” are the most useful utterances to use against him.
The most amazing thing about all of this is that after all this time Satan still has a fragile ego and so deperately wants our approval.
Reminding him that he wasn't invited to our party makes him running away in crying fits.
